The whole world is in a state of shock with the current COVID19 outbreak that spread from a wet market in Wuhan. This has raised many concerns due to daily cases involving COVID19 reported to be in a dangerous state. Our country Malaysia has recently received 70 deaths and nearly 4346 cases, making it worrisome to residents.
To prevent the COVID19 outbreak from spreading, the government has implemented the Movement Control Order (MCO) in the entire country where a comprehensive ban on movement and assembly of crowds including religious, sports, social and cultural activities is made. To enforce this prohibition, worship centers, and business premises except for supermarkets, public markets, grocery stores, and convenience stores selling daily necessities are forced to close down from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020. However, due to the rapid increase in the number of cases, the government has proceeded to implement the PKP from 1st April 2020 to 14th April 2020. It is almost impossible to leave our houses if we don’t have any important matters to deal with during this period. The PDRM and ATM team have been directed to set up roadblocks and patrols to ensure everyone stays at home. Please continue complying with the PKP so that we can extinguish the COVID19 outbreak chain. The government’s decision of implementing the PKP is expected to help the Ministry of Health (MOH) to strengthen its control over the spread of COVID19 that is affecting our country.
What can we do at home?
There are many things we can do; this is also the period we should use to spend some time with our family. We can clean up our house, try cooking the viral recipes, teaching our kids or do some gardening. Don’t view the situation as a burden, instead, look at it as a time to get closer to family members and help each other out. All we have to do is stay home for the situation to improve.
We are advised on taking preventive measures and maintaining our hygiene by MOH. To ensure good health and hygiene, always wash your hands with soap, maintain social distance and seek immediate treatment in case of illness. We at EE Automation want you all safe and well. Thank you to the front-line staff who worked hard to protect and eradicate the COVID19 virus. Every day, they are at risk of contracting the deadly virus but their spirit remains tough to provide the best treatment for COVID19 patients. They are all heroes. We also must cooperate, listening to the advice that the government gave which advises us to keep at home.
