Are you in search for a CCTV security system coupled with a fiber optic solution fro your home or business place? Or are you in the hunt if adding a few tweaks your existing system?
Well, EE Automation service is exactly what you need as we have completed more than 15 projects and installed more than 1000 cameras over the past few years.
Many installers tend to believe that fiber optics is a hard and expensive solution and don’t actually see is an alternative to the convectional copper cables. Even when this kind of transmission seems obvious, they avoid using fiber optics. At EE Automation, we employ fiber cable and patch cord to connect these terminal equipment.
The Caoxial RG59 is the most common medium of CCTV video transmission but, it’s distance is restricted to about 100 meters. Another problem is that the the Coaxial RG59 has ground loops and interference from electrical equipment. As with our case, we use fiber optic converters which solves the copper distance and interference problems. For instance, highway operators have been employing CCTV technology for monitoring traffic and in most large cities with fiber optic cables, converters are being used.
See above photo, we can transmit up to 192 cameras with this.
Analog CCTV cameras signals can be converted to optical using a fiber optic converter. One optic fiber, depending on the model, is able to carry signals from 1, 4, 8, or 16 cameras respectively. Camera points can be located at up to 10 km from the surveillance point. A fiber converter usually consists of a transmitter, power supply and a receiver.
