How Should You Wire For A Security Alarm System During Construction?
You should run wires to each window grills and doors where you are going to put sensors. Alarm wire is fragile, so it is a good practice to lay extra wires for each sensor points.

2 is better than 1 (we normally lay 2 cables for Alarm Keypad)
We normally lay spare cables for our alarm system. In case of any future need for more at either end due to damage, we will have spare ones to use.
Since alarm wire is fragile, we strongly recommend you to conceal the alarm wire with proper UPVC conduits.

How much does a good Alarm System cost? Having an alarm system can protect your loved ones and valuables from burglars. You don’t want to regret later right.
Here are some guidelines.
Double Storey Intermediate Terrace (RM 3000 – RM 4000)
3 Storey Intermediate Terrace (RM 4000 – RM 7000)
Don’t think you have got a good deal if you get a quote that is below RM 3000 for a double storey house, there is probably something fishy going on. Everything has its price.
Example of joining wires
99 of 100 companies out there uses left over cables and join them together. They then conceal the cables into your walls. You won’t discover the problems until few months or a year later.
Example of using 1 alarm cable for 20 sensors
Many of the alarm companies use 1 cable for 2 alarm zones and 5 cables for the whole house.
Example of 4 cables for double storey house (cut corners)
The shady alarm companies are having to cut corners in order to remain competitive in the market. As we all know, many lazy people in this world waiting for things to fall from sky. Many of the companies are having very few customers. So they have to maximise the profit and minimise the cost to make ends meet.
